Coconut Margaritas

Mixing up a Coconut Margarita is one of the best ways to celebrate summer all year long. This coconut cocktail recipe is easy to make and dangerously delicious! All you need are four ingredients and a blender to make this tropical margarita.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups silver tequila
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1x 15oz can of coconut cream such as Coco Lopez
  • a pinch of salt
  • Ice
  • lime wedges and toasted coconut for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Add the tequila, triple sec, coconut cream, lime juice and the pinch of salt to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Fill a glass with ice and serve!

    A note on the strength of this drink: I tend to make my drinks pretty strong. I recommend following the recipe, and giving it a sip. If you think it is too strong, add some ice and blend it into the ingredients.
    How to store leftovers: You can keep any leftovers in mason jars in the refrigerator without ice. Give them a good stir before serving.
    How to make in advance: Simply follow the recipe, and store in mason jars without ice in the refrigerator. It will keep for a day or so, then you can bring it along to a party, picnic, pool party, holiday party... whatever you like!
